I DID IT!!! Day ONE proved to be much better then anticipated. I enjoyed everything that I ate and we'll see how creative I can become as time goes on. I did not get a picture of lunch, but it was fantastic, I had some chicken covered in a coconut flour, pepper, and garlic salt mixture, cooked in a very small amount of coconut oil with some baked zucchini and orange slices on the side!!!
Yum yum!
I think getting started is the hardest part, just doing it, jumping in and not looking back. I think that is the hardest part about almost anything that has unknowns and will require us to change, putting us outside of our comfort zone. With change, that means we have to learn and grow...and growing will definitely cause some GROWING PAINS! We have to resist the urge to turn back or shrink when we think of the possible struggles or discomfort that will be associated with the change that comes into our lives. We must continually focus on the good that will come from it, as we do this and make the Joy and Goodness BIGGER in our minds then the discomfort and struggles, we will find incredible Joy in the Journey! So if you are wondering how to change, whether it is physically, financially, emotionallys, spiritually, etc....follow the simple plan outlined in the picture below:
We are all at different stages of progression in our lives and all come from different circumstances, but no matter where you are or however inadequate you may feel to whatever task is ahead of you, just START TODAY with ONE simple step towards your goal. DO is part of getting things DOne. Find something today that you can DO towards whatever it is you want to get DONE! It doesn't matter what you can't do, it only matters what you CAN do. It doesn't matter what you dont have, it only matters what you DO HAVE! It doesn't matter what you cant do where you are, but what you CAN DO with WHERE YOU ARE! Embrace what is around you and take one step at a time.
One guarantee that you will NEVER make it to the top of the staircase to your dreams is if you DON'T take the FIRST STEP!! Take that step!!!
I have taken the first step in my goal towards better health and the building of my relationship with my Heavenly Father, as I am obedient to His counsel. I know that the journey will not always be easy, but I know that it will be worth it. The Lord is so good! He has promised us so many blessings, if we will just do what he asks; "I the Lord am bound when ye DO what I say; but when ye do not what I say, ye have not promise" (D&C 82:10). The Lord calls us to DO! GO and DO, TODAY!!
